Technical Account Management Lead

About the role
As the Technical Account Management Lead at MusicInfra, you will serve as the critical bridge between our cutting-edge platform and the publishers, DSPs, and rightsholders who rely on our solutions. You'll be responsible for orchestrating complex client implementations, ensuring seamless data exchanges, and transforming real-world industry challenges into scalable operational workflows. Your work will directly enable client success while driving product roadmap decisions and maintaining the high data quality standards that power our MusicGraph™.
You'll collaborate across Business Development, Engineering, and Product teams, functioning as both technical specialist and client champion in our mission to ensure creators receive fair and timely compensation.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Business Development and Partnerships to identify client needs and assist in their successful onboarding.
- Provide technical guidance to clients from pre-sales meetings to the landing of solutions, including ongoing support.
- Manage the delivery of complex projects involving large data exchange processes.
- Document the Company’s products and processes, train clients to make the most of our products.
- Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to develop user friendly, scalable solutions that solve key business challenges.
- Help shape product roadmaps by identifying current and future business needs, proposing solutions, and recommending prioritization.
- Dive into technical details to support and iterate with Product and Engineering to reach state of the art data quality standards.
- Lead technical operationalization of near term pilot clients, including:
- SQL operations to design and perform analysis of music catalogs.
- Perform data transformations, move files, and trigger support product features developed by MIC eng department.
- Other technical operations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of operational / technical account management from music publishing company or DSP.
- Extensive experience in publishing supply chains and publishing operations.
- Firsthand knowledge of Music DSP operational needs and strategy relating to ingestion, reporting and invoicing.
- Familiarity with music metadata standards (CWR, DDEX ERN, DSR, MWN…) Strong SQL skills.
- Competency with parsing JSON and writing SQL.
- Ability to handle large data files using UNIX commands, shell scripts.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working efficiently with AI to transform data, iterate, automate, and perform complex operational tasks.
- Experience working externally with music publishers, CMOs, labels, and rights holders.
- Experience working with rights metadata systems in bulk, especially in music publishing or copyright domains.
- Deep understanding of the music industry, rights management, and the global digital supply chain.
- Experience building out cost-efficient, extensible, scalable operational workflows.
- A love of music and interest in helping creators get paid fairly!
